| We make our base camp in Montrose, Colorado (in a nice comfy motel). From there we will visit and photograph small mountain towns like Telluride and Silverton. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is nearby. Then there are those gray roads that offer tons of aspen trees and mountain views. We'll be right there between the San Jose and the Rocky Mountains and the aspens should be turning!! This trip is all about back roads and beautiful nature photography. Learn the best light and best time to photograph fall color and how to compress your composition to make an aspen grove look like a wall of remarkable tree trunks and hues. |
